Blue Screen Of Death

The Blue Screen of Death error is an error that happens to a lot of people, and it is probably one of the most intimidating errors that can occur because of the fact that there is nothing you can do but simply restart your computer.

So What Does The Blue Screen Of Death Error Actually Mean?

Really when you see the blue screen of death, you are basically looking at code that is used to diagnose what actually just occurred or what the source of the error was. It probably means nothing to you as a regular user, but it may mean a lot to someone who knows exactly what they are looking at, someone with a high range to technical knowledge.

The blue screen occurs when your PC thinks that there is the chance of a major system error. It basically tells itself to shutdown and put up all of its defenses in the presence of a potential error. This is why it happens so quickly and without warning.

There are tow main causes of a blue screen of death error.

One cause is if you have drivers that are bad. This has to do in part with registry errors that exist because of poorly written program code. This means that when the program was originally created, there were flaws in the design. These types of issues can typically be fixed fairly quickly.

Another cause is when computers actual hardware components become so overworked that they begin to heat up. Yes, it’s almost like when a car overheats. It will get to a certain temperature, and then a self defense mechanism will kick in that completely shuts it down. There could be issues such as poor power supplies, bad memory, or overworked hardware.

If the hardware of your computer has become worn out to the point where you are constantly receiving blue screen of death errors, then you may have replace some of those items in order to get your system back to a normal working state.

You can get rid of blue screen of death errors by trying the following:

1. Attempt to reboot your PC to clear the blue screen error. This is the most primitive solution and the easiest to perform. It may not have any affect, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

2. When you start your computer up again, do so in Safe Mode so that you can pin point which items are damaged. If you don’t have a lot of technical knowledge, then this option may not be so easy.

3. Walkthrough your system devices to see if there are any hardware issues once you have identified and eliminated any software issues. You should be able to skip this step if you have your operating system analyzed for issues first, which is most likely where the problem lies.

4. If nothing else has worked, you might have to completely reinstall Windows. This should be your last resort however.

The blue screen of death error can be a frustrating one to deal with, but just know that you are not the only one who has experienced this issue and there are a number of options for fixing issues that may be causing it. With the right game plan, you can have your PC fixed within a reasonable amount of time.
