Internet Explorer Errors

Internet Explorer Errors can occur regardless of whether or not your keep your system updated with a registry cleaner and anti-malware program, and in many cases these issues can be troublesome to deal with.

In most cases the cause of these types of errors doesn’t exist on your PC, but rather with the website itself. These errors are often times hard to understand because they contain highly technical content that most individuals do not understand.

Here are 5 Internet Explorer errors that you will most likely see at some point during your internet browsing experience:

1. 400 Bad File Request

When you get this error, it basically means that you entered a URL that is not valid or one that does not exist. This can also be the result if you click on a link that was not created properly. If it is the case that you simply misspelled the URL, then you simply need to respell it correctly. In the case of a bad link, you can attempt to locate the proper address for the target website yourself.

2. 403 Forbidden/Access Denied

When you receive this error message, it means that you have tried to access an area in which you need special permissions granted to you in order to access it. If you do have access, it may be the case that you simply supplied an incorrect username and password combination. If you receive this error before you get the username and password prompt, then the server on which the website resides may not be configured properly.

3. 404 File Not Found

This error simply means that the file you are searching for does not exist or it cannot be found in the location that you are currently trying to access it. A page refresh may resolve the issue, but if it doesn’t, then the page may no longer be available.

4. Runtime Error

If you’ve ever experienced this error while browsing the internet, chances are you were left confused and not sure what to do next. You may have received the error “A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug? Line number Error: Permission Denied.” Huh? So how are you supposed to answer this question if you don’t even know what it means?

This message exists because there is an error in the logic of the website page that you are attempting to visit, which can typically only be fixed by the ones that created the website. If you wish to get passed the error, simply click No when prompted. If you don’t want to see this message anymore, click on the Tools menu item in IE, then click the Internet Options tab, then select Advanced, then Browsing, and then check the box next to Disable Script Debugging and click OK. This will prevent you from seeing that message in the future.

5. Errors On Page

This isn’t a specific error message that you will see in Internet Explorer, rather it is simply a way of describing the issues that you may experience when you visit a web page and it doesn’t load properly. One example would be if there are missing images on a web page. This typically can occur when page load times are very slow, and the browser hasn’t been granted enough load time.
