Windows Socket Errors

It is possible for the errors know as Windows socket errors to occur on basically any version of Windows operating system, so just because you have one version rather than the other, doesn’t mean that you can avoid them.

If you are more knowledgeable when it comes to fixing windows errors, then you will not have a hard time dealing with this type of error, or any error for that matter. Dealing with PC issues can be very frustrating, and you certainly don’t want to make any wrong moves when it comes to removing certain files.

Becoming familiar with the current issues that are present with the different Windows operating system versions is critical when you’re trying to become better with the whole troubleshooting activity. It is very likely that there will always be Windows errors because this has been the case with every other version that has come out in the past. There will always be someone out there who is able to pinpoint some sort of vulnerability.

The key to becoming more familiar with Windows operating systems is to gain a cumulative amount of knowledge by exposing to a number of different versions that are released. You can learn everything at once so you basically have to learn as you go, and learn from your mistakes or successes.

Has your computer been producing strange errors that seem to occur rather frequently? Does it seem that there really is no rhyme or reason to these errors?

Have you been noticing an error that displays the following? "Windows socket error: (10049), on API 'connect‘" or "Windows socket error:(11001), on API 'ASync Lookup".

If you have been seeing this error on your PC quite frequently, do not panic, it is not a virus. You might seriously want to consider using a registry cleaner, however, to stop these issues from popping up down the road. This could be a sign of issues in your registry where files that are corrupt have latched onto your registry, therefore causing a decrease in performance.
